Everyone’s journey is different. As you navigate our Next Steps Path, we believe that these are foundational steps in your journey to follow Jesus fully.
God created you on purpose, for a purpose. Nothing, not even your greatest mistakes, can separate you from God’s radical love. In fact, God loves you so much that He sent His perfect and only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for your salvation. Jesus didn’t just die for you, He died as you.
Making the decision to follow Jesus is the first and most important step toward abundant life. Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Are you ready to take that step?
You can accept Christ right where you are or complete the form below to get in contact with a member of our team who will be happy to pray with you.
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision. The act of baptism symbolizes turning away from a life of sin and chasing after Jesus, the only one worthy of our pursuit.
The Bible tells us that Jesus was baptized and He commands us to do the same (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 1:9). We love to celebrate salvation and encourage all believers to be baptized after making a decision to follow Christ. Go ahead and tell the world about your decision to follow Christ.
Develop a Daily Devotional
You can’t have a close relationship with someone you rarely talk to. God’s Word, The Bible, is the primary way He speaks to us, and the best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. By spending time in the Word, you learn more about the heart of God, His love for you and your role in His story. The Bible is our final authority on the character and actions of God, and we can trust that it still speaks to our lives today.
Daily devotionals look different for every person. For some, they consist of prayer, reading the Bible or going through a devotional plan. The goal is not perfection, but dedication. Whether you have read the Bible for years, or you’re opening it for the very first time today, there is always something to learn.
God wants to use you to reach people. And often, it’s through a simple invite.
You will always encounter people in need of the Gospels’ good news! When you were saved, you accepted an invitation to receive Christ, and a chance to pay it forward.
It’s easy to get caught up in the “what if” questions of inviting someone to church. But, what if they are waiting for an invitation? What if church is exactly what they need? What if your simple invite changes their life for the better?
Chances are, you will get a “no,” but that’s okay. It only takes one “yes” to change a life forever. If we do our part, God will do His part. We just have to take the step.
