Meet Our Team
Marty And Julie Strait
Pastor Marty and Julie Strait are the founders and Senior Pastors of Pathway Church located in Longview, TX. Pastor Marty is a graduate of LeTourneau University and has 20 years of vocational ministry experience. He is a gifted communicator who loves blending humor with truth and is passionate about seeing people reach their fullest potential. Pastor Marty and Julie love living in Longview, TX with their three kids Luke, Moriah and Briggs.
Julie serves alongside her husband as Associate Pastor of Ministry Development and also for Sapphire, Pathway’s women’s ministry. While her greatest calling and joy in life is to be a wife and mom, she loves developing new ministries and raising up leaders. Her goal is to “work herself out of a job” by equipping leaders to step into their destinies and lead these new ministries at Pathway. She also finds great joy in seeing women take off their masks and learn to be real and vulnerable with each other while finding acceptance for who they are. She believes each woman has a radiant warrior inside of her and is passionate about seeing that warrior released.
Mark oversees and pastors the staff team at Pathway Church and directs the business and operational aspects of the ministry. He has a true passion for serving people and seeing them connected to their God-designed destiny. Mark and his lovely wife Alaina have two amazing kiddos, Jackson and Carah, that they consider among their greatest joys on this earth.
Paul and his wife, Kim, have been married since 1982 and have a daughter named Crystal and a grandson, Greyson. Paul has two pampered weiner dogs, and is close with both his dad and brother— each named Philip.
I am blessed and fortunate to be married to my wife and best friend Dana for 22 years. We have two wonderful boys Zachary and Noah. We are happy to call Longview home and Pathway our church!
James serves as Associate Pastor of our Switch Student Ministry along with his wife Lindsey. James has an unrelenting desire to provide atmospheres where students can encounter Christ. He leads each Switch team to produce safe, engaging settings for your student to connect with God and build quality relationships.

Maria serves with a passion for people (and processes)! She has a heart to see Pathway take over the world for Jesus. Maria and her husband Nick have two grown sons and beautiful daughter-in-loves — Nicholas & Caitlin, Jonny & Kati — and an awesome daughter, Stephanie. They are also excited to become first-time grandparents in 2018.

Katie Middleton serves on Pathway’s support team. Katie is passionate about ministering to people’s needs, helping them get “unstuck” in life and seeing them fulfill their God-given calling through their passions by living each day with purpose.
As a member of our support team, Ariene assists with ministries such as Lifegroups, Pathway Women, and Freedom. Ariene leads young women in a Lifegroup and is passionate about all people! She loves to see others connect to their God-given purpose and take over the world!
Lauren oversees and coordinates all special events from conception to production and all of the details in between! She truly enjoys collaborating with Pathway’s people and leadership on the vision and particulars of an event, and seeing it spring to life.
